Newly Diagnosed: Bile Duct Cancer

In collaboration with the doctors of UCSF Medical Center, The Bili Project Foundation video series provides information for those who are newly diagnosed and need further information on how to navigate clinical trials.

The Bili Project is a Hepatobiliary Cancer Awareness and Research Program. It’s mission is to reduce the incidence and improve the outcomes of Hepatobiliary cancers by promoting research to identify biomarkers and therapeutic targets.

Bile duct cancer, a rare cancer, is a disease in which cancer (malignant) cells are found in the tissues of the bile duct. The bile duct is a tube that connects the liver and the gallbladder to the small intestine. The part of the bile duct that is outside the liver is called the bile duct.
