Neuropathy sensory spastic paraplegia

Overview

A very rare syndrome characterized mainly by sensory nerve degeneration and spastic paraplegia. The extremities of the hands and feet have reduced pain sensation and disfiguring ulcers tend to develop.

Symptoms

* Abnormal gait * Leg weakness * Increased reflexes * Spasticity * Pain insensitivity in hands and feet * Hand ulceration * Foot ulceration * Leg paralysis * Bone loss in feet
