Overview

A very rare syndrome characterized mainly by patches of abnormal skin pigmentation affecting the face and back of hands and top of feet

Symptoms

* Small localized areas of excessive pigmentation on face * Small localized areas of reduced pigmentation on face * Abnormal pigmentation on limbs * Freckled appearance of face * Abnormal pigmentation on penis

Causes

* Gilles de la Tourette syndrome * Munchausen syndrome * Tyrosinaemia type 1 * Suicide * Lesch-Nyhan syndrome
