Isaac was born with Jeune Syndrome, a rare genetic disorder that affects the development of cartilage and bones. He had his first surgery at University of Iowa Children’s Hospital when he was two years old and returns to Iowa City at least twice a month for care. Isaac’s younger brother has the same disorder, which is caused by recessive genes. Today, he’s a happy young boy whose story inspires everyone he meets.
