Congress summary

The 13th International Musculoskeletal Congress is organized by the World Federation of Hemophilia (WFH) in collaboration with the National Hemophilia Foundation, and the WFH Musculoskeletal Congress Organizing Committee.

This Congress brings together world-leading orthopedic surgeons, hematologists, and physiotherapists specialized in the treatment and care of patients with bleeding disorders.

Participants will spend three days not only analyzing and discussing new medical developments but also looking at problems and issues in different parts of the world.

Sessions will focus on such topics as:

  • Subtalar joint
  • Flexion contracture
  • Chronic synovitis
  • Muscle bleeding
  • Clips and tips of live surgery
  • Crossfire sessions on: Biological therapies; inhibitor patient – endoprosthesis or conservative; ice or no ice
  • Plenary sessions on: WFH research agenda and outcome measures
