In March 2010, the Association Sclérose Tubéreuse de Bourneville and the French Rare epilepsies reference centre joined to organise the first French scientific day on the Tuberous Sclerosis Complex (TSC).
This day allowed doctors and researchers, therapeutists and academics to meet and discuss the various aspects of this disease. Next October, we will organise a second meeting which, we hope, will also prove very enriching. We will be happy to welcome many TSC specialists including three renowned international experts : David Kwiatkowski, Elisabeth Thiele et David Franz, with whom we will share views on the new therapeutic orientations.
Now that the European TSC Associations join to form a real pan-european network, it is time to reinforce this network. This meeting will be an opportunity for doctors and researchers to meet, to advance common projects in order to improve care of TSC patients. Participants desiring to present their work will be offered an opportunity to do so during a specific session in the end of the day.
