We will include open-table discussions in all three
sessions of our symposium, which will allow attendees and speakers to
discuss these issues openly. A second goal is communication of the
importance of raft biology to a much wider research community. Third,
we hope to seed collaborations and sharing of reagents among conference
attendees to advance the field. Fourth, we aim to cross-fertilize
across otherwise seemingly separate fields of research that we feel are
unified by raft biology, including inflammation, neurobiology, and
cancer research.
