Dear members and friends,
we are pleased to invite you to the 4th ICCCPO Meeting of European member groups, which will be held from 24th – 26th May, 2013 in Basel (Switzerland). Peter Lack and the Childhood Cancer Organisation Switzerland welcome us to Basel.
The Meeting will start with a hospital tour on Friday and is followed by a one and a half day meeting.
Topics at the moment:
- Revision of EU clinical trial regulation
- Political advocacy (Parents and Patients Advocacy Committee)
- Update EU funded projects (ENCCA, PanCareSurFup etc.)
- Needs of national survivors representatives/groups
- Update on current issues (e.g. Survivorship Passport etc.)
If you have any topics which you would like to discuss, please let us know as soon as possible! For a better preparation we ask you to give us a quick response.

Registration & information:
- This year we have a varying registration fee. It depends which room category you choose (single room 150 €, double room 120 € and four-bed room 100 € per person). The registration fee covers bed and all meals, water, tea and coffee for these days. Other beverages are not included.
Please bring the money with you in cash as we will not be able to charge credit cards etc. Thank you!
- There are only a few single rooms. Please register as soon as possible, first come-first serve.
- Additionally please inform us if you have any preference in sharing a room. We try to meet your requirements, but please keep in mind that there can be small changes.
- Please complete the registration form and send it before the 1st of March, 2013 to the ICCCPO secretariat
- There will be a limited number of stipends (cross your interest on the answer sheet) for those groups who really need it. A stipend application will follow later.

Journey description:
Venue Basel
Basel has an international airport “EuroAirport Basel Mulhouse Freiburg”, which is frequented by a number of airlines. Basel has also very good rail connections to many directions.
You can reach Basel as well via the international airport Zurich. You find the SBB railway station in the basement of the terminal with regular rail connection to Basel. A direct train goes every hour during peak hours (travel time 1:20 hours).
From the main railway station Zurich a train goes to Basel SBB every half an hour.
