Dear Colleagues,
We are pleased to welcome you to the Course in Advanced Endocrinology, to be held from 6th-8th February 2009, in Singapore. The two previous collaborations between the Endocrine and Metabolic Society of Singapore and faculty from the Mayo Clinic, USA, were well received by endocrinologists from all over Asia and beyond, and we hope that learning will be just as enjoyable during this current collaboration.
We have carefully selected experts who will highlight some of the latest advancements in the major fields of endocrinology in the Advanced Course. Osteoporosis and the use of bone mineral densitometry will be highlighted in the pre-Course Workshop. There will be plenty of opportunities for interactive discussion with the course faculty.
We hope you will have time to take in the festive mood of the Lunar New Year during this period and perhaps take a ride on the new Singapore Flyer, the world’s largest observation wheel.
