The first International awareness day for Hereditary Angioedema (HAE) Day will be held on Wednesday May 16 2012, in Copenhagen, DN.
Hereditary angioedema, also called Quincke’s disease, is a rare but serious problem with the immune system that is passed down through families. It causes swelling, particularly of the face and airways, and abdominal cramping. Please see CHECKORPHAN for more information.
The objective of HAE consists of to raise awareness of HAE and HAE days.
