Split-hand deformity
Overview
Split-hand deformity: A rare genetic disorder where fingers or parts of fingers are missing. It is usually associated with a cleft of the hand which gives the hand a claw-like appearance.
Symptoms
* Missing fingers * Missing parts of fingers * Hand cleft * Claw-like hand appearance
Causes
* Ectrodactyly, recessive form * Karsch-Neugenbauer syndrome * Patterson-Stevenson syndrome * Split hand - split foot * Tibial aplasia - ectrodactyly - hydrocephalus and Missing fingers
