Overview
A very rare syndrome characterized mainly by slowly progressive muscle weakness and wasting and abnormal function of the bodies automatically regulated processes resulting in excess sweating and other problems.
Symptoms
- Excessive sweating
- Low blood pressure on standing
- Blue fingers in cold weather
- Blue toed in cold weather
- Abnormal esophageal function (esophageal achalasia)
- Progressive muscle weakness
- Progressive muscle wasting
- Enlarged esophagus
- Impaired joint mobility
