Aortic dissection lentiginosis

Overview

A rare familial syndrome characterized by the association of aortic dissection and multiple lentigines (brown skin spots). The aorta can rupture in some cases and result in sudden death.

Symptoms

• Arterial dissection
• Multiple small brown skin spots
• Headache
• Hemiparesis
