Dysphonia- chronic spasmodic
Overview
A speech disorder which sounds like stuttering and is caused by abnormal vocal cord movement.
Symptoms
* Uncontrolled vocal spasms * Conscious effort needed to speak * Tight throat * Intermittent hoarseness * Aphonia * Strained voice * Effort required to produce a voice * Hoarse voice * Tremulous voice * Jerky voice * Intermittent voice breaks * Failure to maintain voice * Weak voice * Quiet voice * Whispery voice * Breathy voice
