Fernhoff Blackston Oakley syndrome

Overview

A very rare syndrome characterized mainly by retarded fetal growth and jaw anomaly as well as various other abnormalities.

Symptoms

* Decreased abdominal musculature * Absent chest muscles * Small ears * Absent external ear * Cleft palate * Flat cheek bones * Small head * Small jaw * Recessed jaw * Overlapping fingers * Poor muscle build * Nail abnormalities * Webbed toes * Short stature * Reduced amount of amniotic fluid * Infant feeding problems * Epicanthic folds * Permanently flexed fingers * Brain abnormality (cerebellum agenesis) * Narrow eye slits * Retarded fetal growth
