Trichomegaly cataract hereditary spherocytosis

Overview

A rare syndrome characterized mainly by cataracts, excessive eyelash growth and and a blood abnormality (the red blood cells are spherical instead of doughnut shaped which makes them fragile).

Symptoms

* Cataract * Long eyelashes * Abnormal red blood cell shape * Anemia * Jaundice * Enlarged spleen

Diagnosis

signs and symptoms of Goldstein-Hutt syndrome may vary on an individual basis for each patient. Only your doctor can provide adequate diagnosis of any signs or symptoms and whether they are indeed Goldstein-Hutt syndrome symptoms.
