Chicago, Ill. – The International HBV Meeting aims to provide an essential forum for researchers to share their discoveries, questions and insights through an interactive environment. With a history dating back to 1985, it continues to be the definitive international scientific meeting focused exclusively on the hepatitis B (HBV) and hepatitis D (HDV) viruses.
This annual scientific meeting continues to bring the global thought leaders in the field together with young and emerging scientists working on hepatitis B virus (HBV), hepatitis delta virus (HDV), and hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). Many, if not most, of the major discoveries in HBV and HDV were first reported at this meeting and have directly impacted drug discovery and other research that has advanced the science and medicine of HBV and HDV.
The 2024 International HBV Meeting is set to bring together over 500 delegates from around the world, spanning various sectors including academia, industry, and clinical practice, all united by the common goal of finding a cure for chronic hepatitis B and delta.
