Overview
A rare inherited disease involving tumor-like deposits of a substance called hyaline in body tissues such as skin, gums, joints and bones. Hyalin is a collagen-like substance made by cells in the connective tissue
Symptoms
* Nodular face lesions * Nodular neck lesions * Ulceration * Small pearly skin bumps * Small pearly nodules * Subcutaneous nodules * Progressive joint contractures * Poor muscle development * Impaired mobility * Overgrowth of gums

Prognosis
Prognosis of Juvenile hyaline fibromatosis: joint contractures can be disabling and tumors can recur after removal
