Overview
An extremely rare syndrome characterized by fragile skin which blisters and peels, abnormal nails and thickened skin on palms and soles. Skin blistering and peeling starts at birth.

* Blistered skin * Peeling skin * Short hair * Sparse hair * Thick nails * Fragile skin * Reduced sweating * Pink skin at birth * Cracked skin on palms * Cracked skin on soles

Prognosis
Prognosis of Ectodermal dysplasia/ skin fragility syndrome: some cases are so severe that wheelchairs are required as the skin on the soles blisters from walking or standing
