The goals of the Opsoclonus Myoclonus Syndrome (OMS) Workshop are to discuss the various issues and special challenges that are associated with the diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment of OMS. The objective is to identify strategies to improve research and clinical collaborations and resource sharing in the United States and internationally. This workshop will also examine the disease course of pediatric and adult onset OMS, discuss current therapeutic strategies, and look at immune mechanisms of OMS. It is hoped that this workshop will result in the identification of basic and clinical research needs, the setting of research priorities, and will facilitate the development of clinical protocols.
